L'Annexe du Mas de la Costete

A rare combination of refined comfort, genuine hospitality, and breathtaking surroundings. Positive: Ellie and Tom are wonderful hosts. We travelled by public transport to the Mas, and Ellie kindly picked us up and dropped us off at the nearest bus and train station, which made the journey very easy. The house is beautiful—comfortable, spotless, and tastefully decorated. The views are among the best we’ve experienced on our travels, and there are plenty of scenic walks right from the doorstep, including hills and gorge trails. Ellie is also very knowledgeable about the region’s history, language, and architecture, which added a lot to our stay. On Sunday morning, we were treated to fresh croissants and homemade jam, a lovely and thoughtful touch. The friendly cats made us feel even more at home. This was one of the warmest hospitality experiences we’ve had, in one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. We highly recommend it and would love to return. Negative: Honestly, the only thing we would have changed is staying longer!
